Has your doctor suggested that you lose weight? When the blood sugars go higher, a person may have weight loss because they don’t use the food appropriately. If the numbers are lower or in a ‘normal’ range, then they will gain weight and use the food correctly.
Uncontrolled diabetes may lead to a condition called ketolysis,by which the liver starts using body fat reserves and proteins so that important body functions including brain activity can be carried. This leads reduction in body weight.Blood and urine analysis will confirm if this is the case with you.Medical guidance is essential.
You are taking very high doses of medicines. Weight reduction occurs when your blood glucose level is high. This happened to me every time when my sugar level was high. Even after taking such high doses your sugar level is not under control, so you should consider changing the treatment .
I would suggest you to do at least half hour of running with some aerobics considering your age.
When I was diagnosed with diabetes my sugar level was 625 and until that time i lost my 20kg weight.
Around 2 weeks ago my sugar level was high because I ate some sugary stuff and stopped taking the medicines. But I managed to recover, by increasing the exercise time and taking some herbal medicines.
What I learned from my previous experiences is that, regular exercise and putting limit on your food intake is the key to fight against diabetes. Allopathic medicines won't help you for a longer time. Take well balanced diet and start exercising from today. Later on you'll be able to cut down the medicines.
