PPBC not under control.

Hi friends. I have managed my fbsl successfully, that is within 95 to 110, without medicines of course. However, PPBSL 2hrs after is not coming under 175. After 4hrs, it is below 160, no matter what I had in lunch. So I feel my body's normal response is slow. Is there something home remedy sort of that if taken before meals will help. I have been on medicine for 45days in my early diagnosis of sugar level disturbance in July 17. I stopped medicine at doctor's advise. He says better control it yourself with exercise, diet monitoring etc.

Try cutting down on portion size and supplement with mixed boiled and seasoned sprouts or nuts or egg.

PPBS depends on what you eat. You must be eating higher carbs than what you can tolerate.

I agree with shrisamarth. Please review what you eat. Are you vegetarian? You may have to limit your carbohydrate intake to less than 50g for a day to see if BG still rises high. It may be difficult if you are vegetarian.

Hi Vibhakar,

You said you have managed 'fasting blood sugar level' effectively without medication. Could you please let me know more details how you have achieved that. What was the number before? I am struggling to bring it down under 100 from 120-125.

Check with your doctor. If he permits, then follow my advice.

Check bsl in evening. Mine was below 140. Go briskwalking for 30+minutes at about 6pm, in pollution free track without talking (no chit-chat, concentrate on steady motion). Cool down and have your dinner before 8pm- lots of veg, one only phulka of 6"diameter, 1 to 2mm thick. Stay awake for at least 2hours. Sleep well. Stay blessed. In a month. You will achieve.
