Under stress and less sleep my fasting shoots up from an average of 90 to around 102 or so usually

Yes. BP too increases a little but transiently.

Stress response is fight, flight or fright. Mediated through "stress" hormones. One needs more glucose for this stress response. Obviously bs rises.
