Any thing withink "limits" is good if you exceeds it bad
As long as you take any beverages in right quantity and WITHOUT sugar, it will NOT increase diabetic conditions. Of course, any thing which are in excess as well as making higher calorie value, is SURE to cause increase in blood sugar (if you are diabetic). Then, again, I have heard that excess milk is also NOT good for diabetics. I am diabetic and I restrict my milk intake to 500 ml /day, which makes up for my morning coffee (3 times, half cups), evening coffee half cup) and one small cup of yoghurt made at home) for my afternoon meals

Coffee and tea are not essential items of diet. But if you like them, restrict to maximum of two cups a day. There are reports that they do some good at that level of consumption.
Agreed But modren days cofee tea or milk is habit and routine dairy of all persons early morning time so it was not possible to stop the consume from most of the persons There r somany difference opinion about cofee and tea consumption from most of peoples
In my opinion, two cups a day would be playing it safe.It all depends on individual decision.
tea coffee milk one or 2 cups will not create problem for diabetes.
iam rice eater from south- 2 times a day-morning and night.break fast -optional for me.as iam out of station in very cold region, no morning or evening walk possible.
what surprised me a lot these days is for last 3or 4 months, after lunh and dinner,i take a little dalchin(cinnamon) and dont sit or sleep for next 20 minuesor try to walk in the house itself.
this is showing me very controlled sugar levels-fasting 70-110, and post luch 14 around.
iam male, 65 years running.of course i take allopathy tablets as per doctor advice 2 times a day.
i take generic medicines after DRs told it makes no difference -branded or genericmedicine.

in addition to dalchin after meals, early mornings my wife and me both take hot water with home made mix (of haldi, menthi powder, amla powder). i also take early morning garlicin raw form.
