YEs. you can have it very well. Just take juice from 3 medium sized gooseberry and drink once a day. You could see a markable drop in sugar level. and you feel very active. I am 62 , I take this regularly . Also , this improves other parts of body which are usually malfunctioning due to diabetes.

I think goosberry is called as Nallikayi in kannada and in Sanskrit it is AMALAKA ?

iF IT IS aMALAKA THE SAME IS GOOD FOR DIABETIC AND ALL DISEASESD PERSONS IT CONTAIN HEAVY vITAMIN c AND SO MUCH OTHER NUTRIENTS AND VITAMINS INAYURVEDA IT IS USED FOR tRIPHALA CAPSULES With amalaka and nisha ( Turmeric powder ) Called as Nishamalakachurna or capsules for diabetic control So Amala juice withoutadding sugar is very good or instead of Juice u may eat 2 or 3 Amalaka itself in original form is too much better
