What are the probabilities of child becoming a diabetic if ONLY mother is diabetic ? Can they have surrogate mother and have a normal baby?

Or the baby will b infected even if it isn't carried/delivered by diabetic (biological) mother ?

Would it get affected even if it is carried by other non diabetic women? How much chances are there ?

Im asking about the mother being diabetic and not the surrogate mother !

If she is been type1 diabetic since she was 5 And fathers a non diabetic.. Would it affect the baby or not ?

So in short you mean whether the baby is delivered by a t1dm or by surrogate mother would make no difference ?

If its bound to inherit t1d it will ?

If not than the baby would not inherit even if it is delivered by type 1 mother?
