I have tried to convert my A1C of 6.6% to eAG and ADA websites convert it to 125.
However, I have seen another calculation of Equation:
eAG = (28.7 X A1C) - 46.7 eAG which has given the result of 142.
Which one is correct

At present there are two systems of converting A1c into bloo d sugar in mg/dl .One is called DCCT System, other is called ADAG System.There Is no uniform system which is followed universally.
Formula for calculation under DCCT is A1c multiply by 35-75= Blood sugar in mg/dl.
In ADAG A1c multiply by28.7-46.7=bs in mg/dl.
Reading is always higher in DCCT calculation.As both systems of calculation are in vogue it advised to ask for system of calculation from path. labs.
You are perfectly right. ADA online calculator is giving only in integers 5,6,7 ... and ignoring the decimal value.
From 6.6 to 7.1 and now again back of 6.6 with your great help. Nathan's or DCCT formula hardly matters. One should aim for your 5% club membership.
