If a diabetic person on 40 units insulin once at 10pm,is having blood creatinine 1.04, can use the sour items like lemon juice etc? means

Creatinine 1.04 is not on higher side or on border line. I think the border line on higher side is 1.4. Secondly if your creatinine level is on higher side, you are not ad viced to eat potassium rich food. Lemon juices etc. are potassium rich foods.

Oh yes,it is 1.4 and not 1.04.thanks for the response that lemon juices which are having potassium are restricted for the people if the creatinine is on the higher side.Now others sour items like yoghurt,tomatoes are also restricted ?

Regularly check your urine for pH value it should be above 6.5 to 7.2 max it means your body is less acidic. the more your body becomes acidic the lower the pH will fall below 6.7 If you are acidic that is pH is below 6.7 it means you have some or the other disease.

Moreover only two types of sour items : lemon and amla are only permitted as these two juices turn alkaline inside the stomach and are beneficial while all other sour items are harmful and prevent digestion
