When a person eats more carbohydrate and starch it does not affect only diabetic patient it also affects heart strongly . It can damage heart and can create different heart problems so avoid eating of more carbohydrate and starch. The daily requirement of sugar is only 100 grams per day if you do so it is better for both diabetes and heart also.Heart needs protein and fat for proper function. If you take more and more carbohydrate and starch it affects the heart and create many heart problems they may be heart attack, angina pectoris, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, myocardial infarction etc .etc.So always take food with rich in protein and fat and low carbohydrates and starch.
