Can one control T2 diabetes with exercise, ... - Diabetes India
Can one control T2 diabetes with exercise, only.. if so, upto what levels of FBS and PBS?
My experience is that diet plays a more important role than excersize but that does not mean that you should not excersize.
Of course, what I meant is will diet+exercise be sufficient to control T2 and if so, till what levels of FBS and PPS. In other words, at what 'levels' is it almost mandatory to start on a medicine while maintaining diet+exercise. I understand this depends on a number of factors but broadly. The age band say is 40 to 45 years. Male.

Diabetes mellitus should be controlled by diabetic diet, aerobic exercise, anti-diabetic education and diabetes education.

Gentleman! may I ask, and congrats to you on achieving goals, do you yet take tabs/pills in spite of bringing all parameters under normal and strict following of LCHF diet??? just curiosity and if yes, just names of medicines being taken by you.
I admire your posts and thanks for all the inspiration to us all
Dear Medfree,
Kindly inform the diet chart for Low Carb High Fat. I.e. menu for breakfast- lunch & dinner.
Thanks.
I am afraid it is not. Proper food, proper medication and proper exercise are the necessaries. The word "Proper" is the patent for single individual and differs from person to person through trial and error. Had it been universal there would not have been any competitions, games or challenges and not even examinations to youngster in life.
If your FBS is going above 110 and PP going above 150 then you need to control your carbs very strictly . Till then you can manage with your daily exercise . You may start taking green Tea twice or thrice a day as a preliminary treatment.
