All these are our regular food items and there is no harm in consuming them. But one cannot depend on them totally. If they work, well and good,we can reduce depending on other medicines. They are indeed good for general health.I consume a mixed powder of amla, methi seeds and turmeric powder in the ratio of 10:5:3 early in the morning on empty stomach with warm water.I do feel improved health.
MANY thanks for your quick answer..but are all these powders available in ayurvedic shops or do we have to make them. shall be grateful for your answer.

Thanks for your quick response. My age is 63, my height is 5'7" and my weight is 60kgs. I do not have any major sickness for the last 20 years, never been hospitalized, I was in Saudi Arabia from where I got diabetics. I came back 12 years back.. Now the sugar level is fasting sugar is 180 and post lunch is 240. (taken 3 months back) This Saturday I may again check the sugar level. I know it is a little high, but then I do not take any medicine, only exercise and diet. In fact I never took any medicine. I eat methi (sprouted) in the morning and consume Kada (ayurvedic) one glass. Should I start take medicine now.? I am concerned about my health. Please advise me.

Thanks again. As I have written already my height is 5'7" AND my weight is 60 kgs. No allergy, no constipation, no dark circles, no skin decease, BP is under control. I take Tenelol-25 one tablet every day morning. I also take SPIRILUNA 2 tabs in the morning. I have sound sleep, interrupted two times in the night, once at 1.00 a.m. and second time 4.30 for passing urine. I refrain from eating high protein items, sweet things. I walk 2km every day. (1in the morning and 1 after office hours) I do not take diabetic medicine till now. But lately I feel a bit tiredness. Should you advise me to take medicine, if so what type of medicine?
Kindly advice.

dear Venugopal,
By what you have described and your readings, you are confirmed diabetic and you should follow LCHF life style. There is enough information available in this forum on what you should eat.
By an instrument and take sugar readings multiple times every day.
Check you lipid profiles now and after 4 weeks of lchf.
Also consult doctor either now and in due course after lchf.
Follow this very basic food eating tips:
1. Eat only when ur hungry [don’t go eat lunch just bz its 1 pm...don’t eat time basis]
2. Chew 25 times [count literally each bite]
3. Don’t drink water before or during or after food for 1 hr minimum.
4. Stop when you get 1st Burp while eating. When you chew 25 time, you will get burp - its a signal that ur full.
5. Finish dinner on or before 7 pm
5. Then do walking daily 30 mins a day.
