my microalbumin discharge was highly highly excessive, all's been brought under control as I've now 'woken up' in life; for the past decade I was absolutely careless; ignored BG and was not adhering to fix time-table in taking medication; was very irregular and many times also would forget to take medicines; my albumin discharge was just too high and excessive; with serious adherence to disciplined approach in diet, daily brisk walking, total avoidance of fried foods of any kind, avoidance of wheat and just marginal in-take of potatoes, not daily; my SG levels are normal, for past one month, all is well, cholesterol, thyroid, triglycerides, etc. etc. all is excellent; I managed good control of albumin by taking following of Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved medicines viz. Gokshurradi Guggul, Chandraprabhavati, and Vrrikkadosharvati. These one tablet each after breakfast, one tablet of each after lunch and also after dinner. And for SG / sugar control, l also take Madhunashinivati - 2 tabs empty stomach mornings, and before dinner 2 tablets. I take lots of fruits except for bananas, grapes, pineapple.

Hi, My dad's micro albumin discharge is very high. It is 375 mg/L . He is diabetic. Could you please give more information on how you got it under control. What food/grains to be avoided. Also more details on the medicines taken.

Diabetic Nephropathy can be controlled by proper diet control and Na/K+ intake. It is advisable to take more of animal source food rather than plant source. For more details email at drsujeetvedic@yahoo.co.in
