Yes you could control your diabetes. Control your diet--- Please do not eat at all---Fat, sugar. Eat Carbohydrates moderately. Eat a balanced diet which should be protein oriented. Eat more vegetables & fruits. Avoid eating Mango, Grapes, Chikoo,but instead eat more of Papita, Anar, Apple, Kharbuja, Jammun,

Every morning measure your fasting blood - sugar level.It should be between 80--110. After two hours of Breakfast take you PP sugar level. It should be between 150--180 level. Do not be rigid over these reading as 200 for PP is considered as normal.Adjust the doses of Insulin according to sugar level taken every morning. Do not take any sugar /sugar free with tea/coffee . Avoid all juices. Record your sugar level so measured for which buy a Glucometer with a diary for recording.

Keep your Hb1c Glycoslated in between 6--7. This is the number which tells you, your sugar control for the last three months. If you keep this no between 6 to 7 that will show your good control over diabetes. It is not very difficult to control your sugar level by taking diet with out sugar and fate free.

Diabetes will effect your eyes--retina & glucouma which causes blindness. It will cause neuropathy in feet & toes . This also effects your blood circulations in your legs and can cause gangeren if not cared for. Diabetes also causes severe heart ailments. It is very bad disease? But it could be controlled and one could live for long.

Please visit "Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, Bihar" They have some wonderful idea of cleaning of stomach i.e. called "Shankha Prakshalan" With this our stomach gets completely cleaned including intestines. There is possibility that pancreas may start producing insulin. Ultimately there will be benefit. Nothing will be loosing. You may also consult your doctor before planning for visiting to Yoga therapy.
