I don't get on with them, the inflating cuffs hurt my arm (pinches). Does anyone have a similar experience and recommendations on ones that are more comfortable?

Sounds like you need a bigger cuff - if pinching might be giving you bad reading too

The ideal cuff bladder width is ≥ 40 percent of the patient's arm circumference. ... Example: If a patient has a 40 cm arm circumference, 80% of the arm circumference is 0.8 x 40 cm = 32 cm. The minimum cuff length that can be used for this person is 32 cm, which is a large adult cuff.

I had to purchase a bigger cuff. The size should be written on cuff and most manufacturers do range of cuff sizes
