I had a urine infection, was put on Nitroferantoin antibiotics, then developed high blood pressure. I had blood tests and urine sample taken to check there wasn't a problem with my kidneys. I was put on Amlodipine 5mg in January this year, no problems with those. I am trying to lose weight but at 66 years old it's not easy. I go for a few 30 minute walks, weather permitting and hope to go swimming soon. I eat healthily but I'm thinking of cutting out carbs.
