Hi just been for fasting glucose done today , after my serum glucose came back at 6.2. I originally had misheard on phone last week and thought 2.2 lol. My question is how likely is 6.2 to be diabetes or is it unlikely?

Only fasting blood sugar will not determine ,if you have diabetes. Please get blood sugar done, fasting as well as 2 hours after food or 75gm of glucose,If possible also get your HbA1c done.

Please note that rise in pp blood sugar precedes fasting blood sugar by many years .
