What's causing my symptoms?

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 5 years ago, I also have hashimotos and fibromyalgia.

Lately I've been feeling really unwell all the time. I have dizziness, pain in my brainstem/neck and jaw, also in my joints, I get aura migraines, slurred speech, unsteady on my legs, brain fog, cognitive problems, I feel spaced out and can't take in any information from tv/reading or conversation, and my whole body feels shaky.

My brain doesn't feel like it belongs to me, I say things that I don't even know that I've said, my thoughts are all over the place, I'll be thinking about something and it switches to something completely different after a few seconds, especially when I'm trying to fall asleep at night.

(Even writing this post has taken ages, I've read it over and over to make sure it makes sense, so I hope it does lol.)

I recently found out my metformin wasn't being absorbed so it's been changed to instant release from slow release, but my blood tests are OK, my thyroid levels are OK at the moment too.

I struggle to do anything around the house and going out is impossible, I certainly cannot drive like this.

Are the doctors missing something?

They seem to treat one thing at a time instead of addressing all of my issues, so it's been like this for years. This particular problem has got progressively worse over the last 18 months, to the point where I've hardly been functioning in the last 5 weeks.

( I have been referred for a brain scan to rule out anything sinister, "as the doctor put it", but I'm not convinced that that's the problem).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys x

hello,

I am sorry to hear about your health problem

Your doctor is the best person to answer all your questions.

May be you need a referral to a specialist. Not knowing what is going in the body can be a worry. I went through this last year.

Please keep a diary of daily food intake to eliminate the food that is giving problems.

Do you have a copy of your blood test results for HbA1C and blood cholesterol?

Please try this link to get food intolerance test.

Simply sensitivity checks.

At the moment there is January sale, giving you 80 % off normal cost.

Do you have to wait for a long time for your brain scan?

Last year, I had a lot of health problems.!!

Take care.
