I have been on Metformin for going on 20 odd years, in the past six months or so I have had bad flatulance, I read somewhere online that Metformin is the cause of flatulance..
Can anyone confirm if this is true.

Hi Don, I would think if you hadn't noticed the problem for 20 years, it's not likely to be the metformin. I find I have the same problem after taking EvacalD3, as I take it normally on waking and then again in the evening. Otherwise, it's just old age!
Medication can give strange reaction at times.
Please try to change you diet, keep a record of it to identity which food in causing your problem. THis is what I did!
