Nephrogenic diabetes insipidus

Hi folks I was diagnosed with nephrogenic diabetes insipidus 14 years ago due to being on lithium for 15 years . Which I'm now on depakote. The thing is my pharmacy keeps changing the brand of desmopressin which I've been prescribed, I could be taking 2 different doses in a week.

Could anyone tell me if this could have an effect on my health as it is a deficiency in the hormone vasopressin.

And it's not the same as actual diabetes think the diagnosis name has been changed to ADVP .
