I have been experiencing the same thing, usually late afternoon/early evening. Forces me to sit down for a short time, if I dont, I find my toes on my affected side start curling downwards gripping of the ground for extra support. I find using a towel as a sling around the base of the foot and pulling the foot upwards towards me and rotating it relieves the cramp. There are also gel toe props available, worn under the toes, I have not tried them out yet so cant comment if they help, but worth a try. 'Simply Feet' . simplyfeet.co.uk/p-2057-gel...

Not for everyone, but I had horrible toe cramps (I used to walk my dog 1.5 miles every day, then got to point I almost couldn't walk) until DBS operation and none since . Before DBS, tried but had no luck with picking stuff up w/ toes and had only temporary relief by walking backwards, as needed.

Back to walking dog 2 miles per day!

I have the problem, too - seems to be related to a period about an hour after taking my Stalevo medication, then it goes away again after 20-30 minutes.

Can't help with a cure - I just try to place the feet flat on the floor and stretch the toes out.
