Same here, my hand tremor usually start after walking or running for 2 to 3 mins, and then gone in about 10 mins. Try to use a stress ball, it works for me.

Same with me, when sitting no tremor, only when I stand up or start to walk. Yesterday I went to visit a new doctor he even told me that this might be no PD. He also told me to make drug test because if I dont respond well to C/L than PD is excluded. But I know that I respond well to C/L except that stupid tremor. (mouvments are faster my reactions are faster, I can better hold my back, etc. ) So here I am ttly confused I know only one thing for sure is to try to make as much exercices as much I can... hopeing that it will help.

Can also be essential tremor, you should ask for a datscan. A common sign of PD is when we walk, one side of arm doesn't swing.

Datscan I had and it seems that the left side of my subtantia nigra has cell dammage.

Also when this whole nightmare started 2 years ago my right arm stopped to swing it was one of my early signs.

If you stand up and do not move - do you get tremor ?

Or feel like falling ?

Did I mis read in your post you mentioned .." when sitting no tremor , only when stand up " ?

And if you walk faster - does the tremor reduce or stop ?

sorry you are right the correct formulation would be "stand up and walk" instead of stand up or walk

OK. That makes a huge difference ...😀

I dont know my guess is that not really...

but it would good to know if someone has the same type of tremor as I do, meaning that only when walking

Does the tremor reduce if you walk faster ? Tremor in the hand ? Legs as well ?

Hi ,What if he just stands still ? Any tremor ?

When just standing still - does he feel like falling over ?

And when he walks faster - does the tremor reduce or stop ?

I have a left-hand tremor when I'm not using or conscious of/thinking about that hand; for example, when I'm brushing my teeth with my right hand. Usually, I stop the tremor when I notice it and consciously control my left hand.

i have a genetic mutation so I know for sure I have pd. Meds control my tremor very well but excitement brings it on despite the meds. If my meds are near the end of their cycle simply walking could bring on the tremor which usually settles as I continue walking. For me it is the “excitable “ reaction that brings it on and as I settle down it does tend to stop, unless it is time for more meds

Many people have the genes associated with Parkinsons but do not have Parkinsons. There also needs to be a trigger. Do you take CD /LD

when I start walking the tremors start in both hands- when I stop they subside. I asked neuro he said probably a pd trait .. woohoo....

The general rule for most people is if it is Parkinson's than tremors will show at rest (not sleeping) and stop when concentrating on an action and CD/LD will have some effect. No effect = not PD

When I go on a walk, my left arm stiffens and tremors. I found a coordination exercise of 3 points, Hands tapping each other, L to R then R to L, then R or L to belly, repeating until the tremors and stiffness dissipates. The coordination is 2:3, feet are walking in a two step and hands move in a 3 step.
