Yes I have the same sensation. I just finished physical therapy and it seemed to help a little.

This is a vain question but how do you ladies put on eye make up when you have hand tremorrs and facial spasms?

I don't wear it any more. I don't want to have an accident and poke my eye. For me, it just isn't worth the risk.

I have this often in the lower part of my head, my neck and shoulders too. I have a great husband/wife physical therapy team who can work with my schedule and are very understandiing of my day to day issues. A chiropractor is a must too. If your body is out of wack they can realign your body. It usually only takes a few visits to accomplish the task. Last, a massage where they really work the pressure points helps to relax and keep things loseen up. I try to go at least 2x a month. Most insurances will pay for these services== you can get the orders from your doctor office. Good Luck.

Hi Mazpar, yes I'm only surprised you didn't get a flood of yes's. I used to feel like I put on a hat, a very heavy hat, and I liken it to a dark mood a bit scary. but very uncomfortable. It normally came when I felt down in spirit or felt sorry for myself. but I hope it leaves you as I don't get it now, it's just another one of those Parkinson's fun things. Be positive, I know every one thinks your doing well but we all have our bad days. bye Danny

I get migraines, but AFAIK, they're unrelated to the PD. They're not like the crushing feeling you're describing. Instead, they're a headache in the right temple and right side of the forehead, along with the beginnings of nausea. Then I take a prescription migraine med and it goes away in 30-60 min. Without such a med, it would be 2-3 hours of increasing nausea until vomiting. My mom occasionally had migraines back in the 70's, but the meds were nothing compared to now, so she suffered trough them. We're lucky to be living in a time with so much better Rx meds.
