Yes I do not take medication as yet and was diagnosed in december 2010.

Yes.have had it. 6 years and have refused medication..only natural stuff and exercise. I believe medication makes things worse i n the long run.

I was med free for years as I was misdaignosed with MS. But when I got to the point of being housebound as I couldn't walk I decided after much soul searching to take Sinemet. I am on the minimum meds possible and have my life back. Who knows what state I'll be in in a few years time but my life was impossible before meds, I was isolated and very miserable. Having said that I would avoid meds for as long as possible.

My husband has been off pd MEDS for a year now, many, many years on them. He had built up an intolerance to them, suffering the bad side effects through many years, and then when the hallucinations and violence came to be, I had to make the decision of taking him off the meds he was on. Along with the vitamins I added additional supplements which have greatly helped, he has no more confusion, pressure feeling in the head and all that was, I take him now twice week for hourly massage, and can see benefits, Dr. Today Suggested doing it three times a week so we will do that.
