This photo with your children is absolutely precious. Enjoy them while they are young Andy, Too soon they are adults with children of their own - like ours, 47 and 49 years of age. The 49-year old has a 5-year old son who Skypes and lives in England. (half of our family is in

England) and we are lucky to see them once a year. So, enjoy them while they are near.

They live on the edge of Dartmore in a village called Ashburton. I just love it there. From the upstairs guestroom windows, I can look out and see the ponies and sheep and tors on the moor. It's so typically English country picturesque. In the lanes, we've had to stop when they are riding to the hounds to allow the riders to pass. Never fear, no more foxes. Just the scent. We Americans read about scenes like this, but never think they really exist except in movies. But that part of Devon is paradise. My husband being an ex-pat Brit has family in Totnes as well. Actually, visiting family is like a tour of England beginning in London, Kent, Wiltshire, Gloustershire,

Cheshire (sp?) Summerset and of course Devon. It has been a huge part of our lives until I was blessed with PD 7 years ago. But we talk often and Skype every weekend. so they all don't seem so far away. Where do you live?

Hiya

I live in the steel city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, a city of just over half a million residents, a city also famous worldwide for its cutlery manufacturing as well as steel. Hollywood actors Sean Bean and Dominic West are from Sheffield. Part of the citys boundary lies within the Peak District National Park....a stunningly beautiful part of England.
