Hard to measure, but maybe my swallowing is a bit better. My posture is better but that may be a result of my twice a week Physical Therapy that I have been doing for a few months now.
Yes, it can be habit forming. What works for me is psyllium husks. All I need is 1 tbsp every other day. Some people may need more, but it is a natural treatment and the fiber helps the microbiome.
I am taking Pysylluim husks in the form of Metamucil nightly along with flaxseed, fishoil. In addition Mag07, mega doses of Vitamin C most days. Also Natures Plus Ultra-Zyme during meals to help with digestive enzymes.
Thanks for all the reponses.Agree! Milk of Magnesium is definitely effective as a rescue remedy. Just don't like taking it too often. . Also i use probiotics, thiamine and BST, eat dates, apricots, prunes but like to keep intake of sugar to a minimum.
- Use Mannitol much less lately.
- Will look for the Smooth Move tea again (contains Senna - shortterm use) and maybe Millet Seed ...
- Lions Mane may be on my food sensitivities list "mushrooms , gluten, dairy, rye, barley, pineapple, etc" although might try it.
-Maybe a gut microbiome test might be enlightening for me. Sensitivities have increased lately, maybe histamine or Mast cells?
- Did read recently that Levodopa may cause constipation? Ugh
Hmm, I'm wary of remedies that deal with symptoms rather than the root cause(s). Could the root causes be a lack of iodine, hypothyroidism, DSV bacterial overgrowth, SIBO or Candida? Would SBO and other probiotics, berberine, glycomacropeptide, iodine etc deliver a better outcome?
