It's so amazing to see how much worse Jim is in just the last 6 months. He has been in and out of the hospital so many times. Worse is he seems to have given up. His get up and go and got up and went as they say.

Depression has much to do with it I guess, I can't think of anything worse than being in and out of hospital.

Perhaps he needs something to stimulate his mind, a new interest? Perhaps Occupational therapy could help.

THis must be very difficult for you to watch and I am sure you are feeling helpless. Depression usually goes along with this crazy disease. Is he on an anit-drepressant? I find the best thing for me is to get out of the house and move. ANy kind of exercise no matter how big or small I feel MUCH better afterwards. I also find this group is wonderful for me. PEople to communicate with is terrific.

He is lucky to have you. KEEP MOVING AND TAKE YOUR MEDS!
