I've been taking Carbidopa/Levodopa for almost a year, and it's been highly helpful in reducing PD symptoms.
How might supplements containing mucuna pruriens (like DopaBoost) interact with my prescription?

I have been taking DopaBoost along with my c/l for the last 18 months with no issues. I only take 1 capsule in the morning. There was a short time while I was without it waiting for the bottle to arrive in the mail and I did seem to notice a slight increase in my symptoms, mainly a drained feeling. Of course this could have been my mind playing tricks but things returned to ‘normal’ once I resumed taking it.
Or it could be your mind AND the dopaboost?
That could very well been the case. The greatest factor for me regarding symptom flair ups has been my ability to maintain a proper level of mindfulness and being in the moment rather than pondering what has been and what could be.
I take two capsules of Mucuna Pruriens (=1000mg according to the bottle) one at 8:45 and one around 10pm every evening along with C/L (25/100) which I take 4 times a day. MP makes me sleepy and therefore seems to help a lot at bedtime. I’m trying to reduce my dosages of C/L as I have read that C/L ultimately causes damage to certain parts of the brain cells. Increasing my intake of MP, however, did not seem to work … more dyskinesia.
