The daily massage sounds wonderful, though it can be challenging to implement. Through Qigong, there are interesting self-massage techniques to learn, which always have a relaxing effect on me.
Unfortunately, I found nothing about breathing techniques, such as the Coherent Breathing Exercise of 5 seconds. It's easy to learn and can be applied anywhere. Ideally, do it for 3 minutes at least 3 times a day:
Sit comfortably with your back straight, relax your body as much as possible, and close your eyes. Inhale for 5 seconds, then exhale for 5 seconds, through your nose. That's it. 😎
Dear Farooqji. Thanks for this. I would like to tell you about another potential treatment for Parkinson's - related sleep disorders. Here is the report of the case series study mdsabstracts.org/abstract/e... Professor Carroll, Professor of Clinical Neuroscience at Plymouth University would have liked to do a larger efficacy trial with people with Parkinson’s but had no-one available to apply for funding. All of the testers wanted to keep their devices. I helped to develop the device, which is used by a wide range of people who find sleep difficult. Part of what drove me was trying to help a former partner, who had Parkinson's and struggled to sleep well. I would love a larger trial.
