This review paper is open access. Written by Dr Matthew CL Phillips (clinical researcher on world’s first RCTs of low fat vs low carb diets in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, and case studies in ALS and Huntington’s) and world’s leading mitochondria expert Dr Martin Picard.

I was looking forward to this paper after attending Dr Matt’s presentation on this topic at LowCarb USA at San Diego 2024. This video presentation is not public (yet), but a similar PD specific one has been posted on Dr Matt’s website:

That is very interesting. For a wealth of info on mitochondria, hormesis etc the energyblueprint.com has many podcasts from experts being interviewed by Ari Whitten, a leading expert in energy and mitochondria. It’s well worth going through most of them. I usually listen to them at 1.5 speed as most are quite long. Or there are usually transcripts but then you don’t see all the diagrams.
