Latest Tass Patent Issued
Thank you very much for sharing.
I will see if this works. The first letter number combo is the patent number- the link is supposedly a PDF describing it
US-20240277968-A1
ppubs.uspto.gov/dirsearch-p...
so this link is working for me but it appears it is similar to what you posted.
I did the search process using key words on this site
ppubs.uspto.gov/pubwebapp/s...
If you go to the patent search site you can probably find the patent and the PDF with all the details.
i cant help feeling a bit more time organising clinical trials and a bit less time filing esoteric patents wouldnt go amiss
I get the impression that Stanford is more concerned with monetizing the invention than they are with FDA approval and actually helping people with Parkinson's.
That being said, I think many are expecting too much from the gloves. I see them as a tool in treating the symptoms rather than addressing disease modification. More of an adjunct or partial replacement for pharmaceuticals or DBS.
If they don't file to protect patents then a private company can come along, duplicate their work, and patent it. I would rather they have control vs some vampire venture capitalist.
