I recently lowered my Rytary to help with dyskinesia. My feet are really hurting a Lot now, especially after being on them this morning. Should I go back on the higher dose?Trying to decide. What to do. Any advice? Could this be dystonia?

Could be. It would help if you could give some additional detail. Are your toes wanting to curl and does stretching them out help?

Yes, but not excessively. Tried going barefoot and with shoes. Shoes help but had to stop and sit.

I have Botox treatment on my toes every 3 months. It reduces unbearable dystonia foot pain for me.

Doesn’t that hurt? I’ve had cortisone injections in the past for plantar fasciitis and the feet are so sensitive, but I know it’s worth it over the months. Does it affect your balance?

The pain of Botox treatment does not compare with the constant toe/ foot pain I had. It may not be an appropriate course of treatment for you but it’s definitely worth asking your Neurologist about. I was very grateful that the Neurologist I had examined my feet thoroughly, decided that it was Dystonia; and that it could be treated with Botox, and was able to refer me to the Botox clinic within the hospital. Good luck with it all!!

I had foot pain that turned out was unrelated--metatarsalgia with a small neuroma. It felt like I was walking on a rock all the time. On bad days, they ached long after I sat.

I don't know if that could be you but, what helped me was a toe separator, and the right shoe. And it took me a LONG time to find it. Anyway, you might consider a podiatrist...unless you know it's the PD?
