Hi--

Has anyone tried the Neurowrap Pro Plus (red light + PEMF) or the Symbex products for PD (PDCare laser & red-light helmet). Any results?

TIA

I have not tried a laser light treatment. I have done some research and considered it myself to avoid medication for PD. Like you, I'm interested in testimonials. The Symbex product is quite expensive for a laser light device.

I have used the Wellred helmet and intranasal unit for the last 3 ½ years. It is easy to wear and I believe it has helped some non motor symptoms. I have been using the Symbyx handheld device for about a year. I can't really comment about the effectiveness. I do find they need to address the way it is used. I have modified the unit using an elastic when it is turned on so I don't have to push to light it up. I also find that paying attention to the 2 min interval changes in position is cumbersome and annoying. I set a 20 min timer and move the unit 10 times but dont pay much attention to the 2 min limit at each spot. Lastly, the tiny screwdriver it takes to change the batteries poses its own challenges. I find that using recyclable batteries keeps the unit working much longer. Wish I could give it a better recommendation and I will keep using it in hopes it is working on things that aren't so noticeable.

My husband uses the Redlight hat from Welred. Had it for several years now. I have written many posts about it. If you click on my avatar you can read through the posts. Others have written about it here as well. I think it has helped many people with PD, although not all.

I use both helmet and hand held. I think it helps with stiffness, but I can't be 100% sure since I started Rasagaline at about the same time. Something really helped.
