For a while now I wake up ( I haven’t slept well in years) feeling terrible. I feel better about 20 minutes after taking my first daily dose of mucuna powder, which for me works as well as the C/L. 25/100.
I am extremely weak, slow and uncomfortable. Is this just a lack of dopamine?
Thank you

You could have something else going on. Last year when I was diagnosed with PD, I also had a co- infection of lyme disease and as a result of weakened immune system, I had mono.Lyme disease is a huge problem in the northern US.
A Naturopath is a good addition to your regular Dr. for unexplained issues. My Naturopath happens to be a lyme expert.
It's a good thing to keep in the back of your mind as you search for answers.
It's possible that it is a lack of Dopamine. It also could be a lack of water.
It's also possible that it's from you not sleeping well. Perhaps you should try melatonin.
But I think most people somewhat feel this way in the morning before they have their coffee and start moving. Especially if you are not exercising enough. Are you?
I feel the same and believe Ihave very little internally made dopamine left daily. My tremors are out of control until, like you, the first dose kicks in. Since you feel better when your dose begins to turn you on, it is a ddopamine/pd issue, not coffee. Maybe revamp yourevening/night dosing to getbettersleep and have slightly more mucuna/dopa in your brain upon wakeup. Sometimes I will takea half dose at 4 am or 6 am and get a bitmore sleep as I'm retired and have no early schedule. Hope something here helps and experiment a bit.
