These guys are in dream land. This would be funny if not for the suffering that we go through every day. Would any of us want to live forever?

"Wake me in a thousand years when computers can shed tears" - Dark matter lyrics

No, I don't want to live forever but I would love to be woken up in a few thousand years and to be able to have a cup of nice Italian coffee and just watch the people passing by...

maybe they see it as another money making opportunity

Parkinson's is really a form of aging. Hopefully, these companies come up with something that can help us.

likely not just aging since there seem to be more and more young people being diagnosed so seems like something else might be involved like exposure to toxins of some kind

Younger people = faster aging, Inflammation and loss of mobility is exactly why we need more research, so whoever want's to fund it for whatever selfish reason, why not if it has a broader impact?

Nope, superman

This is the kind of thing that gives Communism a bad day.

The best of the best . all billionaires , have decided to change the world so get on board or get out of the way. They are partnering with each other and they will probably succeed.

Remember the Berlin wall ? Former President Regan and Pope John Paul met together many times and planned and acted ,

"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" Reagan called for the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, to open the Berlin Wall, which had encircled West Berlin since 1961. sure enough the wall came down,

What a glorious time to be alive

Gonna be some very disappointed greedy people as they find they can't change nature, no matter how much cash they have.We need to die to make way for the new.

There's some really good research coming out of this, Could be helpful for anyone including Parkies like us.

I completely agree. I am fascinated by Bryan Johnson lately. Who else is going to spend this kind of money on research on the effects of diet, supplements, and lifestyle choices on aging. No, he’s not going to live forever but what he discovers could help many people.

yes they do but one day will understand that we are spirits experiencing life through a human body. NOT the other way around!

Sometimes I just wonder why the super rich and super powerful people don't get Parkinson's. I am not talking Michael Fox or Mohammed Ali. Rather Donald Trump or the Queen of England.

What did you and I do to deserve this condition 😔

Easy lives, not stressed by bosses, not exposed to chemicals, chefs feeding healthy food...?Or do they get it? One of the Google cofounders may.

Biden definitely walks like it.

But they'll all get something eventually. Ì guess when they do they have large estates to hide away in so we don't get to see.

Biden is 80 years old, expected to have some degradation. Not sure why is he still not retired for sure.

Its might just be age but just pointing out he looks, walks and talks with PD characteristics. PD comes more often with age.

Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg And Sam Altman are not the enemy of humanity, Others are lining up in Russia and China for that distinction.

That is why I mentioned Reagan and John Paul, both had a brain disease that was debilitating.

Elon Musk is the richest man in the world . His mother has PD and he might have it too someday, if not already, because it does not spare any one type of person, it is an equal opportunity disease.

There's a reason why he founded Neurolink, which in essence is DBS done right with 1000x precision. Also his insane brain workload, stress and sleep cycle are probably inducing inflammation. We are the first generation with knowledge workers who spent their entire career behind a monitor and keyboard and the evidence tallies will be rolling in soon if not already.

Interesting! I have some observations from my experience. I’m sure if they run this on a more recent cohort the numbers would be even stronger.

I have incorporated some of Bryan's findings and it works well for me, protocol.bryanjohnson.co/

Most of these startups are targeting reducing inflammation and improving mobility, which are the two essential causes\impacts of Parkinson's. They are no joke and an alternative of modern evidence based medicine, which is mostly reactive and too late on prevention.
