I think perhaps the best book on non pharmaceutical regimes is John Coleman's Rethinking Parkinson's. $5.49 Kindle

Or, Daphnes Bryan's, Parkinson's and the B1 Therapy

Dr. Ahlskog's is among the best for pharmaceuticals

Very interesting books

I think you have as much chance of finding a cure in these books as any where else.

I was recommended 'Not Afraid to Fall' by Brian Hall.

Ì just ordered a second hand copy for £6 from Amazon.

Review says:

The true story of the author's battle with Parkinson's disease, and how he refused to back away from his goals! Brian Hall's tenacity, self-examination, and acceptance will drive home the message: Parkinson's disease is not the end - it's a new beginning. When he began showing symptoms at the age of 14, he worried that Parkinson's disease would define his life, but instead it's reaffirmed the person he's become and what he's most proud of. Whether on skis or a mountain bike, he keeps his physical spirit engaged and alive. His inspirational memoir will help you or a loved one bring balance back into your life.

I've read the very interesting books by Daphne Bryan, John C. Coleman and Rafael Maldonado mentioned above.

I would also recommend:

Fighting Parkinson's... and Winning by Howard Shifke

Reverse Parkinson's Disease by John Pepper

Natural Remedies in Parkinson's Disease by Rafael Maldonado

Music as Medicine particularly in Parkinson's by Daphne Bryan

The Brain's Way of Healing by Norman Doidge.

For those of you who read French:

Maladie de Parkinson. Ma guérison sans chimie by Manfred J. Poggel (originally written in German: Mobus Parkinson.Meine Heilung ohne Chemie)

Ma Victoire sur Parkinson by Jean-Claude Prévost

Sur la route de Parkinson. Mon chemin vers la guérison by Claire Garnier.

If you're interested in the psychological aspects of the disease, the works of Pierre-Jean Thomas Lamotte (a former neurologist), Michel Odoul, Christian Flèche and Jacques Martel are definitely worth exploring.
