quite a lot of discussion on this previous post, my husband had the mens shed Redlight hat first, which was the cheapest. Moved on to the Coronet and he’s been using it most days in the morning for 20 minutes, it’s on a measured timer. His progress has been quite slow so we’re keeping with it. Been using it for a couple of years now.
My husband has been using the Well Red Coronet twice daily for a few years. He has regained his sense of smell, his fine motor skills, and has had improvement in posture and mobility, as well as better mental health. Based on his experience I would say don't wait. I also don't think there'll be a lot of research, because once you buy your helmet you don't need to spend any more money on it. So companies would find it unprofitable to invest in huge amounts of research. That's my thoughts on the subject anyway. Good luck!
I also use the Wellred Coronet Duo. Like virtually everything else I do, I don't know for sure that it helps, but I don't think it hurts and I don't think we have the luxury of waiting for more studies.
I have used the Coronet Duo for almost 2 years. Two weeks after I started using it I started sleeping like a baby. This is after years of terrible sleep (couldn’t fall asleep, stay asleep etc.). I use is two times/ day while reading the newspaper. Not a bother at all. I bought the nose attachment 6 months ago but it is very flimsy and hurts my nose so I no longer use it. I travel a lot and take it with me onboard in a china dish round, padded box. It looks like a small hat box.
I am considering getting the Vielight next time because it looks smaller and is more portable. The Wellred people are fantastic though!
I’ve been using the Coronet Duo for about 9 months and would not be without it. Movement much improved. I also use broccoli seed tea and exercise. Feeling much improved.
Made my own, added a pwm to pulse light at 40 htz. Don't see a downside but avoid NIR exposure to eyes as speeds cataracts. frontiersin.org/articles/10...
