NootropicsExpert highly recommends CZTL Methylene Blue (And I do also)

I lucked out today. I have been using Methylene Blue for a long time. I ordered the powder from Amazon. When I went to order more, the Amazon page I had ordered was gone, but I found a different powdered version that said it was USP (pharmacy grade).

I have had questions about the new brand since I started using it about 3 weeks ago. It does not make my tongue nearly as blue. I can easily wash it off my skin. The last few weeks my tongue has been really sore with canker sores. Yuck.

I'm not saying the new brand is what is hurting my mouth, but I am saying this new stuff is different and not impressive as far as staining things blue. I bought 3 grams for $60 ($20 per gram) and I am done with using it (maybe I will try to dye something with the 2.5 grams I have left).

The good news: I was wondering what a good brand of Methylene Blue would be and I found this video today: Methylene Blue - updated youtu.be/p97zv5SFls4

And this guy highly recommends CZTL Methylene Blue: cztl.bz/?ref=Lwr85

It turns out CZTL was the first brand I bought a year ago, it was great and I am ordering more.

CZTL costs $30 a gram at Amazon amazon.com/USP-Grade-Methyl... and I just ordered 1 gram overnight.

CZTL costs $70 for 5 grams at the CZTL site, so I will also go ahead and order 5 grams there (I don't know how long it will take to get here). cztl.bz/collections/feature...

For legal reasons, I am not going to mention the name of the other MB powder I bought at Amazon. I will just say I there are only 2 brands of powder MB at Amazon that I can see.

EDIT.....found your posts from last year......thanks!

Hi Bolt. I am curious to know if you were taking the methylene blue in conjunction with your C/L and what side effects, if any, you might have noticed. Thanks

Hi Feargaire, I have not been diagnosed with PD. I was diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder in April 2021 and was told it would eventually turn into PD, LBD, or MSA. I am trying to prevent that.

I do have some symptoms of PD. Mostly a sore left shoulder, sore left leg, and occasional random muscle twitches. I used to also have face dandruff, mild balance issues, very rare tremor in my left hand, and my involuntary twitches were more frequent than they seem to be now.

All to say I am not on CL. There is a contraindication for MB if a person in on anti-depressants.

I bought M.B. about 10 years ago to give my husband who has Parkinson's. Just today I listened to Dr. John Lieurance and he is saying it is not something to worry about, (the SSRI contraindication ) open.spotify.com/episode/7u...

this is a very informative video. Past threads here show that Methylene Blue is contraindicated if you are on Levodopa. And yet, Methylene Blue is helpful for those with Parkinson's. So I'm confused. I am to believe that if I'm taking C/L, I should not be taking Methylene Blue?

You are correct. Drugs.com states you should not use Methylene Blue with Levadopa: Drug Interactions between levodopa and methylene blue drugs.com/drug-interactions...

With MB it is hard to say whether they are talking about intravenous or or use. Please do your own research, I have a high school degree.

This does not put me off Methylene Blue. It is still in my stack.

hi bolt

you said you've been taking mb for a year and i know you have a big stack, like most of us

i can't tell if the 40 supplements i'm taking are doing anything for me since i've gotten WORSE the last couple of months

so at what point do you/ i or anyone just say: F**K it ... I'm not wasting any more money on this SH*T?

I'm sorry to hear you are getting worse PDWarrior. I'm a little better than I was 2 years ago, but my neck is always sore and my left shoulder and leg won't stop bothering me. These are minor things but the foreshadowing weighs on me.

I don't know when the point come when we stop trying to stop the progression any way we can find.

yeah... me too me too me too ... not sure what i'm gonna try next because I can't get the cardio i need because of a bad left hip ... and the heavy ropes i just started using are giving me a backache!

You have the sore neck and shoulder and leg?

PDWarrior, I’m a little late here , but I just ran across your post. Could you maybe do forced exercise with your bad hip? The machine would do the work for you, but of course you’d still have motion which might be painful.

You probably already thought of that…..

PDWarrior1900 in reply toGodiv

thanks. i am doing "forced exercise"

Yesterday I biked/ walked 12 miles to and from the beach

ditto for today in a couple of hours

the discomfort is minimal and who doesn't LOVE the beach?

LOL

nope -- my left hip is arthritis (i think -- never had a doc look at that because i don't want pills or surgery) ... the backache is a mild strain i got from using the heavy ropes ... and when i try using my indoor bike to the MAX effort ... I get knee pain

----------------------

my only alternative is swimming

i joined 24 hour fitness last year ... but their damn pool and disgustingly dirty men's locker room gave me a FOOT INFECTION (despite my spraying my feet with alcohol after I showered) ...

so i'm sorta stuck ... with low impact stuff that does not get my heart pumping
