aromatherapy with specific essential oils may help tremors

The essential oil I have seen mentioned the most is vetiver for tremors.

Essential oils are usually diluted with a carrier oil.

How can Aromatherapy Help with Parkinson’s?

Although no treatments or therapies have been scientifically proven to slow, stop or reverse

the progression of Parkinson’s disease some people with Parkinson's disease

find complementary therapies help them feel better and can ease their symptoms.

As with any conditions different things work for different people so it is best to explore what

works for you.

when you book an appointment with an aromatherapist it is most likely that the

method will be through an aromatherapy massage.

This method combines the inhalation of essential oils via the olfactory/ limbic/ hormonal/

emotional response and absorption upon application to the skin

Reduce tremors: Basil (Ocimum Basilicum); Frankincense (Boswellia Carterii);Lavender

(Lavandula Angustifolia); Clary Sage (Salvia Sclarea); Marjoram (Origanum Marjorana);

Vetiver (Vetiveria Zizanoides).

I have seen more than one article mention the idea of using vetiver oil and Frankincense oil diluted with a carrier oil and applying a small amount to the temples.

There is a roll on bottle that contains the combination of vetiver, Frankincense, and carrier oil.

We are planning to try this and I can let you know how it goes.

Hi. I have been able to reverse my PD symptoms, but as I get older, I am now 88 and have have had PD for over 50 years, I was lucky enough to have joined RUN/WALK for LIFE and within weeks I could see the difference in my movements and overall health. Contact me if you are interested to learn more! I do not charge for what I do.
