Ask the MD: What Does the New Parkinson’s Test Mean for Me, Today?

"It may however identify that this person is eligible for a specific clinical trial, and many clinical trials may soon require this test." This is the part I was wondering about but since it says that some people with Parkinson's may not test positive does that mean they will be excluded from specific clinical trials?
I think they will very likely be excluded from specific clinical trials that require participants to have PD.
