I have had Parkinson’s for a while with stiffness and tremors as my main motor symptom. I am considering buying the Well Red Coronet but am a little put off by having to order such an expensive piece of kit from Australia. How quickly will it arrive after I order it and where do I send it if it goes wrong? Back to Australia? Any pointers or reassurance welcome.

Well Red Coronet
Hello Colette, shipping from Tasmania occurred approx one week after my order was placed last November. The Coronet was received in the UK at Coventry and then delivered by ParcelForce ( I think) from there. VAT was collected by the courier and there was no Customs Duty to pay because of the medical equipment exemption. It was certainly less than 21 days to receive the equipment in East Yorkshire, which came via Australia Post (Singapore, Germany) and was tracked all the way in a very efficient manner.
Catherine Hamilton of WellRed emailed me directly twice immediately following the placement of an order, and responded within a couple of hours to my own emailed queries. Her responses were warm and reassuring (just as she comes across in the presentations she ‘s done for NoSilverBullet) with kind comments made.
My Coronet and Coronase have been used twice a day since mid December and there has been no issue at all with regard to reliability so far. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from WellRed again.
Our experience was similar to Hirric. My husband had had PD for 5 years when we purchased the red light hat from Tasmania. We bought one from the mens shed first which was cheaper, it worked well and my husbands mood was improved and he rekindled his love of drawing.
About a year later we purchased the more expensive one from wellred and the therapad. (I use the therapad for my arthritic issues.)
It arrived within a couple of weeks, and my husband uses it every day.
Here is one of the videos he has made from his drawings

Just a thought for the skinflints among us,or those who would like to try out red lights before committing to the coronet. We bought 2 red light pads used for neck or knee problems. They have 25 red lights in each, and 2 wavelengths, the same as the coronet.they also have a variable pulse system and timer. We got them from a UK based eBay seller, and have velcroed them together,Darth Vader style( very sartorially elegant!) They sit one down the back of the head, and one on the top, with a small elliptical gap in the middle,Velcro together at the ends. They do seem to have made a difference, mood wise and speech are better, also ability to do various tasks. They cost approx £ 40.00,so that was £80.00 for the whole kit.As Catherine says any strong red light can help, and these pads also have 4 different light strengths incorporated. There are quite a few options available,so you need to do research on what’s on offer, but we are impressed.
An image of the velcro'ed pads would be a great help
hope fully there will be a photo at the bottom of this message,Iv tried 3 times to send one but it’s not playing ball..
Hello Colette. I ordered a Coronet and Coronase on April 13, 2023. They arrived in California, USA today, April 21, 2023. Eight days. Within a short time before placing my order Catherine at Well Red responded thoroughly to my questions. I am pleased with my experiences with Well Red! Stan
