Since my toes on my left foot began curling several months ago, I ordered some silicone toe separators. They worked at first, but were later ineffective against stronger, more extreme instance of toe curling. Also, they tended to break after a month or two.
Could someone familiar with toe separators let me know whether there are any stronger ones on the market? Thanks.

I've found that some toe separators work in the sense that they do separate the toes when they curl, but they do not alleviate the sense that my toes "want" to curl, which is the true problem, and which I'm guessing is neurological.
I had toe curling for 10 to 12 Jears, got Botox and with Botox I could walk better. As mechanical Aid I use "jesusschlappen" and a special aid by 3M. Jesusschlappen is a german shoe with a central fixation of the shoe, some people say hat the risk of falling is higher with these shoes, but I would answer them, that in my case the crossing of the toes is reduced and normal waking is possible. For a long time I have used a special "self made" medical aid. It was made from thermoplastic plastic and plaster to reduce the flexion of the toe joint. So I could walk nearly normal despite a relevant flexixonsdystonie. ebay.de/itm/185987881917?ch...
