"The study found an overabundance of opportunistic pathogens and immunogenic components – suggesting infection and inflammation at play, overproduction of toxic molecules, and overabundance of the bacterial product curli. This induces PD pathology and dysregulation of neurotransmitters, including L-dopa, an amino acid. Results showed there was also a shortage of neuroprotective molecules and anti-inflammatory components, which makes recovery difficult."
I have these key answer:
What is the best diet for Parkinson patients?
Is advisable to take probiotics ? Which?
Is there a anti-curli solution?

see the work of Dr Laurie Mischley in Seattle. After studying 1000s, she’s concluded that a whole food, plant based diet is best for long term results with PD. Get rid of dairy etc.
For probiotics, there is a new one with limited PD testing called Bened Life. We also use pro and prebiotics from Biohm Health— company led by professor/scientist who’s worlds leading expert on micro biome.
Now... I don't know anybody that connects the SCD with helping PD. It just makes sense to me as it might help normalize the microbiome. And I don't know how tightly this diet needs to be followed.
I have both Crohns and PD. I don't have any problems with my diet and so far, I have quite successfully dealt with constipation. Many things I don't eat and many things I shouldn't, but there is no rule... I am pretty sure there is a vital relation between the s.c. gut biome and PD, but what is it? I cannot process so much info as I used to. This is why I need a good doctor.
