I have noticed that in stressful conversations that I have difficulty expressing intensity while keeping the volume at an appropriate level.
It’s only happened twice and it caused my brother to become distant. Another way to describe this phenomena: like trying to crochet a delicate lace while wearing boxing gloves.
Any thoughts or suggestions I would welcome.

I have the same problem. It's so frustrating and I don't know what to do
Drinking water sometimes helps. A speech therapist once told me that dehydration hurts the vocal chords. Also singing loudly every day might help keep your vocal chords in shape. Good luck
In a way this applies to any Parkinsons's related dysfunction permutation or combination. Stress or immediate situational anxiety exacerbates the symptom or clusters of symptoms.
With me it is either my on dyskinesias get amplified 10 fold or and I find word finding an issue.
What has helped me was I started deep breathing as a immediate stress reliever (never believed in it before) but started off trying out the often said "take a deep breadth before you respond" . Now I know that there is evidence for that .
More recently I learned transcendental meditation - 20 minutes twice a day for 2 weeks is slowly transforming my life. I have noticed that my stress responses to any of my Parkinson type symptoms is slowly reducing. So I am stcking with it.
I probably need to mention that prior to manifesting the disease symptoms I was one of those people who sort of was addicted to a constantly challenging career and did cope with it. Colleagues, friends and family depended on me in crisises and I usually was a solution finder.
My own observation was that I was a lot more irritable; now I barely ever get angry.
