I have had Parkinsons for a few years and have vocal issues. I recently had bronchitis and laryngitis and after nearly a month I am still hoarse. I wonder if it could still be from being sick or could it be progression of my Parkinsons.

I am afraid that it likely is PD. It is a common attribute which I have too. You can make it less so by exercising your voice.
Hello. I was very interested to read your post. I have been voice and breathing. I was sent to a speech path for therapy. She gave me exercises to do every day that will help me maintain my voice. It just gets soft all of a sudden. Peaches
My voice has been hoarse for two years. I went to a speech therapist and went through a course you may already know about. I may not have the name quite right, but I think it is Silverman. I still end up high- voiced, squeaky and continually hoarse. The more I talk the worse it gets!
I have heard & seen that the recovery from bronchitis can be several months. I'm always surprised when my friend is still coughing!
I guess for me I'd give the healing some more time since it's not an emergency kind of symptom, but for sure would let my doctor know & ask what it means progression-wise.
I wish you well.
I've done two rounds of the speech therapy but this is different. Just not sure what it means.
sure wish I could be more helpful. It's the pits when we can't find something to guide us on where to look for the unusual things that come along. I'd be happy to know the outcome since most have some sort os voice problem show you.
