Stiff leg and PD?
If you have PD, it can cause that.
HDT (high dose thiamine B1) has eliminated my restless leg.
I have the exact same and believe both symptoms are caused by PD.
Yes i have this in both legs.....i use a plate vibration machine to help also magnesium tablet helps
Does the vibration machine help with leg stiffness (rigidity)? If so, would you mind sharing which vibration plate you have and where you bought it? Thanks! I do not have restless leg but definitely often have a stiff leg/foot, making it difficult to walk (either from PD or from the carbidopa/levodopa).
Been using plate vibration for several years helps with muscle stiffness also you can use in a press up position......wouldnt be without it......get one with support bars if you can as below
yes...thats why pd used to be called paralysis agitans. hang tough.
I have both in my left leg. It was early symptom for me. I’m 5 years in and it is worse during off periods. Besides medication Rock Steady Boxing and walking has helped reduce it but does not eliminate it. In courage you to Keep Moving!
I found that Hyland RLS pills work pretty well for me
I have stiffness in my right leg as of a few days ago and just started sinemet a few weeks ago so I was wondering
What do you mean by stiffness? Spasticity, rigidity or dystonia? I have spasticity, the only time my muscles are relaxed and pliable is when I first wake up in the morning. I have some cogwheel in my joints. I don't have dystonia - I do have Myoclonic/Atonic seizures (I believe they are caused by hypoxia from my poisoning). physio-pedia.com/Spasticity

I think the more we progress the more we pick up overlapping symptoms of other neurological syndromes. I saw this with my mom as her PD advanced. Just an observation.
