Leg pain

Sometimes I have terrible leg pain in my left leg. It is so bad I cannot bear weight on it. I don't know if it is low dopamine or too much. I have tried adjusting my Sinemet and eating a banana every day, but at times I still have the pain. I do the Big and Loud therapy every day and am active. Does anyone have this problem?

It could be dehydration - make sure you are drinking lots of water.

Thank you for your reply. I have increased my water intake and the pain is improved.

Do NOT blame everything on PD. I have been diagnosed for 25 years and with the same neurologist for 12 years. I always complained about my left leg and also could not put any weight on it. After consulting a different type of doctor it was revealed by a MRI that I had a problem with the L4and L5. I had surgery and walked out of the hospital with no pain. I also complained about my arms hurting for about 3 years and MRI's later revealed that I have 2 torn rotator cuffs so badly torn that they cannot be repaired....I wonder what would have happened if my neurologist had ordered an MRI three years ago. Do not accept the Movement Disorder expert telling you that it is because of the PD. Get a second or third opinioni f needed!

It may not be a PD problem I had a horrid leg cramp nightly, having a on going pain in the back of my left thigh. I'm a slower learner thinking it was "just Parkinson" LOL after 4 weeks I went to the doctor and it was my knee, now I need a knee replacement, see the ortho doc on April 30th.
