Does anyone take PS128 with Restore Gold, Azilect/Rasagiline, B1 alright?

Thanks

I do. As well as Q10 and Spermidine. All the best!

Thanks.

I read reviews of PS 128 and Restore Gold and see good results, some slow down the progress of PD, some even paused PD. Do you see big improvement? And what?

Looks like PS128 is patented, so doubtful.

It is a specific formula that only they make. They charge $165 a bottle! You can piece it together and come up with something close for a lot less money. I found L.Plantarum in Kirkman Duo and Allergy Research Group products. They don't contain the 60 million CFU's but you can get close by taking more capsules. It is not an acid-resistant capsule like Neuralli, so you take it on an empty stomach. Neuralli also contains Inulin, a prebiotic. You can find other manufacturers that make inulin like NOW. It might be worth trying this way first to see if you tolerate it before spending big bucks. As a side note, I read an article where an elderly man went gluten-free and after 3 months his PD symptoms went away. I'm still researching that...

Sorry my bad typo: Billion not Million CFU's

I was wondering if home made kefir would supply enough PS128 if taken regularly.I make my kefir, but leave it longer than recommended, then take the concentrate in water. It certainly seems to have stopped colds in their tracks, and the amount of bacteria in Kefir compared to yoghurt is incredibly high.Any thoughts?

If this is your first order, create a shopping cart with all the details of your order and walk away from the site for a day or two. Consider calling and asking for a discount because you are a poor PD person.

Cheers.

Thanks for the replies. Has anyone taken it and had good results? If it works, the price tag might be justified.

i’ve been taking PS 128 since March. It’s expensive, but I really am happy with it. I started B1 in May. And started multivitamin the complex and magnesium in July. no Parkinson’s meds otherwise. My stomach and gut are fine. Zero constipation. I’m not tired anymore, my brain fog is gone. I’m no longer feeling like I’m walking through quicksand. I’m still stiff of walking with not a lot of arm swing and I do have tremors but they are mild. I’m going to slightly increase my B1 to try to find that sweet spot (I’m only taking 50 mg daily oral hcl - which is low for high dose protocol) but otherwise I am happy with the way things are going. I think the PS 128 really does help your gut.

My HWP has been using inulin and consumes Kefir yogurt daily. As I read that inulin was contained in PS 128. It is easy to buy in the U.K. and you can add when cooking, porridge etc. It might be a cheaper way to start before buying the incredible expensive pills, as somebody mentioned above.

Glad to hear your comments on taking kefir, however when we started making it we were told that heating it destroys the bacteria,so you can cook with it,but it won’t be doing your gut any good.I add some to my bread dough, and it doubles in size with only a fraction of the yeast that I used before.
