It started sowing here in colorado at 2 am last night at 4600 ft. dont forget to increase your vitamin D. It's the little things that count for a lot. hang tough.
“That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruin’d choirs where late the sweet birds sang….”

Ha! Was in Golden, CO just last week and it was 78F! Now snowing! lol Isn’t that just like Colorado? Yes, indeed, yellow aspen trees were beautiful in contrast to the green pines! Now try to get some sleep! Believe me, I know the feeling!
Beautiful time of the year, dear Beehive. Snow is gorgeus! I dont expect it here for a while, yet...but the colors...mhhh the colors! Enjoy a good fire and nice herbal tea with a little music in the background. The veil thins. Samhain time.
ouch! get a new winter coat! i think the snow is gonna be rough.....hang tough! listen to Garrison Keiler ....havve a Lewinenkugels for me ! hang tough..... youtube.com/watch?v=g0ouFkV...
where in CO? I live in Fort Collins and we had nothing more than wind and a few rain drops. The autumn has been wonderful this year but we could use the moisture
Colorado native here -love love the golden light and the quaking aspens in the Fall there......about vitamin D....Huberman mentioned in one of his videos t hat the first early morning rays of light will help with circadian rhythms. Also telluric currents run stronger in the early morning hours. Generate endorphins !
ive got 5 cords pine to put up in...1 month.....trying to use the beetlekill which burnsd good and nice btu return.....im 1/2 way done today. ill check out huberman..thanks for that..hang tough.
5 cords will keep a person busy building and maintaining fires-nothing like radiant heat from a wood stove to warm right to the bone marrow..... firewood is getting harder to come by here .
Beehive if you don't mind my asking are you still in hospice care? . thx - md
I can't handle high altitude with respiratory insufficiency - how do you manage?
In retrospect - what would you do differently to manage your PD?
Obviously we can't anticipate what's coming unless someone who's been there documents their journey. I find it helps ease my own grief (ALS diagnosis) to try and find meaning in the suffering and move the needle for others to benefit if I can't.
i go to 14,000 ft but its difficult ..i cant climb at 14k but i drive imogene pass etc thsat goes to just short of 14k. i have slowly lost everything i could do to pd. im a paleontologist so this summer im working on subcontracting with USFS as a felid geologist ...its hard but im out in the bush anyway i might as well get paid to fgind fossils....i found 2 teeth last week behind my house....in retrospect i .....would not have wasted $ on "products" to tackle pd like ex: aswangaghanda , mucuna, etc etc ....get nutrients from food only....ALS sucks....your definately on the spectrum with that Dx. anytime you get the heebie jeebies im here. hang tough...till you cant....then do something else.......
