I’m so sorry to hear that! I never knew that Parkinson’s affected the heart, till my neurologist told me my heartbeat was too fat, and I had developed tachycardia, so he put me on Losartan and Propanolol, which slowed my heartbeat down, and stopped the tachycardia. He said my autonomic system has been affected by PD! I have trouble with cold/hot temperature fluctuations also. My digestive system has slowed down a lot, where I have trouble swallowing, etc. I hope this clears up for you, and that you won’t have to be hospitalized again, for a long time! Best wishes, as always, beehive23!

fast, not fat correction, in last post! Auto-Correction can be a big problem!

Sorry to hear about your heart attacks.

Do something nice for yourself - like getting a massage, or simply having an ice cream (my hubby's favorite treat!).

Feel better.

Would you happen to take Pramipexole as part of your arsenal of PD meds? Although, my neurologist disagrees, I am fairly certain that pramipexole was causing my Angina, swollen ankles and blue feet. I even had a heart catherization done which required no further treatment (no stents). After I gradually stopped taking pramipexole all those symptoms went away and now I can walk uphill with no pain!

that’s interesting. I’ve recently reduced my pramipexole and discovered my frequent dizziness had gone and my feet and ankles aren’t as painful when I wake up as they have been.
