I started off with a twitching pinky about 3 months ago that last for about 2 weeks, and no o have slight shake in my left hand. My kian at Tom though is a constant twitch in right arm that I’ve had for 2 months that’s driving me crazy. Hope it’s not MND but it look likely to be that than Parkinson’s.
Thanks

if you haven’t had a diagnosis I would go and get one. It might be as simple as eg a magnesium deficiency or anxiety so better to find out than worry unnecessarily. Even the anxiety from worrying about it might make it worse!
I can only relate my own similar experience. I had a twitching left pinky for years, it wasn’t bad enough to bother a Dr with. In January 2022 the problem moved across my fingers & up my arm. This rapidly started to interfere with my guitar playing which it my book constitutes a medical emergency.
The neurologist’s first clinical impression was tremor predominant Parkinsonism & this was supported by DAT scan.
I’m very lucky ‘cos I respond incredibly well to ropinirole although the excellent people on here have cautioned me to be vigilant as it can cause undesirable behavioural changes.
I’m 60, my condition is mild, I’m still at work & I’m happy.
Take a look at the Cortical Homunculus (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corti... and note the amount of brain function devoted to the thumb. Could be a coincidence, but there is where it started for me............a twitching of the left thumb. Now I have a twitchy right thumb. and know what to expect. I was proud of my opposable thumbs because it made me feel human!
I was tentatively diagnosed with RLS by my primary. For one year I had a troublesome right hamstring. After a year my right hand started to twitch. After reading online I knew what the eventual diagnosis would be. Parkinsonism. I now suffer some bradykinesia Eaton during a walk and RLS right after going to bed. Not to mention the continued twitching. Sinemet 25/100 seems to partially help. Hoping for further relief from Thiamine HDT.
